First Trip to Paris
These images came after a trip to Paris where with a toy camera, a Holga, I took pictures of various sites. After developing the film, I digitized the images and played with them in Photoshop. The text layers come from a catalog of a Rembrandt Exhibition that I saw at the Louvre. The reproductions of the Rembrandt etchings were excellent and I bought the book even though it was written in French. The images are a combination of pigmented ink jet printed on my Epson printer and then the second layer is from one of the Holga photographs printed on top as a polymer photogravure.
